We are currently hiring a part-time (12-20 hours) Deputy Clerk/Treasurer.

We are seeking an experienced administrative support professional to fill the position of Deputy Clerk/Treasurer.  This is a part-time position that assists the Clerk/Treasurer with a vast array of responsibilities such as financial record maintenance, accounts payables and receivables, bank statement reconciliation, minute taking and transcription, elections, tax collection, website management, licensing and permits.  Qualified candidates will have a minimum of an Associate’s Degree in accounting or related field, or two years office or accounting experience, or any combination of such, along with advanced computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, and excellent customer service and communication skills.   Must be able to plan, prioritize, take initiative and meet deadlines.  This position averages 12-20 hours per week and requires flexibility with work days in addition to occasional evenings.  Starting pay range is $19.00 - $21.00 per hour and is based on qualifications and experience.  You must submit both a current resume and Town of Rice Lake employment application by May 6, 2024 for consideration.  Please read the full job description listed below.
